Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 November 2026

This policy explains how the MindLoop mobile app (“MindLoop”, “the app”), published by Recite Labs (“we”, “us”), handles information. In short: we do not collect, store or sell any personal data. MindLoop has no accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking tools.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, MindLoop keeps the following information only on your device:

This information is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time from Profile → Settings (clear search history, remove saved facts, reset progress), or by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your device settings.

Content from Wikipedia

MindLoop shows articles, images and daily highlights from Wikipedia. To load them, the app requests content directly from servers run by the Wikimedia Foundation (such as wikipedia.org and wikimedia.org). As with any website, those servers receive standard technical information such as your IP address and the article being requested, together with the search terms you type into MindLoop’s search. We do not receive this information. Wikimedia’s handling of it is described in the Wikimedia Foundation Privacy Policy.

Sharing

If you choose to share a fact, MindLoop opens your device’s standard share sheet. What you share, and with whom, is up to you and the app you share to. MindLoop only counts that a share happened, on your device, for the “Spread the Word” achievement.

What we don’t do

Children

MindLoop is a general-audience educational app and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
